We provide you a few tips to help to write the best job letter.
- Objective is important: Recruiters are busy people. They do not have time to go through your whole letter. Always start your letter with the objective so that the essence is not lost and also the recruiter’s interest. For example, write about the position you want to enquire about. Again, if you have any reference from a current employee, feel free to mention his name right after the objective. This provides your letter with an extra attention.
- Modification is needed: Most of the time it so happens that the job seekers use the same format over and over again for different jobs. This is very wrong. Recruiters know and get bored reading the same format repeatedly. Since you are applying in the company you have to do your homework well. Write about your enthusiasm in their product or service in the first paragraph.Â
- Summarize: You must be able to summarize your skills, qualification and other achievements well. But, this does not mean you will rephrase you resume. You can always elaborate your achievements in this part to some extent if you feel its will be of help in the position you are applying for. You may also include those points which you skipped in your CV. You write all these in the second paragraph.
- Review: Reread and rephrase words in the second paragraph. Use words which are pleasing and attention captivating. Do not use words which make you sound like a boaster or which draws negativity.
- Ask for dates: Asking for date of interview makes you sound very keen to work. This gives the recruiters a positive vibe. It most of the time open doors for you.
