Yoga Fitness
There is a substantial difference between yoga that merely centers and yoga that strengthens as well. Of course any committed student of the form knows that half the difficulty of yoga positions is maintaining them in the force of implacable gravity. But lending the same exercises a more concentrated fitness bent requires increased resistance and an accent on cardiovascular sustainability.
If you are looking for this kind of modern approach to an ancient form, you have come to the right place. Here at YogaFit, we take pride in a body of knowledge that is broad-based and specific, synthesizing the best of science with a form of meditation that dates back centuries. Students and instructors alike report they feel more invigorated .
Fitness yoga includes a great many disciplines, from strength training through core exercise and more. We can help you zero in on certain parts of the body for a profound and immediate effect, or put together a regimen for each student that simply balances the mind and body more effectively. From YogaStrength through YogaButt, we offer something for everyone here.

ACROYOGA
Acroyoga is a relatively new type of Yoga and is a mix of basic Yoga positions and acrobatics. While Acroyoga may seem difficult or complex, you don’t need to be a circus performer to participate. The positions are relatively easy and they’re always fun and challenging. All you need is a partner, whether it be male or female does not matter. Each partner compliments the other and it is good to practice with someone who you can trust. The person who is on the floor is the base and must be strong and secure in the positions. The person who is on top must be flexible and have had some Yoga experience.

Ananda Yoga
Ananda Yoga is a Yoga technique founded by Swami Kriyananda. The highest inner happiness is called Ananda, which is the Sanskrit word for bliss. Ananda is not an outer place, it is inside of us. We can see the influence of the mind on the body during our daily life. So it makes sense that the more you are aware of your mind and body, the more they can work together for your spirit. Ananda Yoga emphasizes the friendship between the mind, body and spirit. This focuses on the connection between the Yoga positions and the attitude of the mind. Ananda also brings the powerful tool of affirmation into Yoga practice in order to help raise the consciousness. Realizing the psychological and spiritual benefits that are possible by combining asanas and affirmations is what Ananda Yoga is all about.

Anusara Yoga
Anusara Yoga was created in 1997 by John Friend. It is a powerful Hatha Yoga practice mixed with a Tantric philosophy that is symbolized by a "celebration of the heart". This new school emphasizes a set of "Universal Principles of Alignment" which is based on all postures, "heart opening" poses and the spiritual and meditative benefits of Hatha Yoga. Anusara is a Sanskrit term from the Kularnava Tantra which may be translated as "flowing with Grace", "going with the flow" or "following your heart".

Integral Yoga
ere are two schools of Yoga known by the name "Integral Yoga". The first one is also called "Purna" or "Supramental" Yoga, and it is based on the teachings of Bengali philosopher-sage Sri Aurobindo and The Mother. The other one is a trademark. "Integral Yoga" is registered by Swami who came to the United States from India in the 1960s and eventually founded many Integral Yoga Institutes as well as the famed Yogaville Ashram in Buckingham, Virginia.
