Kid's Health
Kids are the blessings for today and promises for the days to come! The kid's body is the most super sensitive, delicate and susceptible form which can be easily be harmed if not taken care of. The kid's health comprises physical, mental and social well-being. For keeping your children's healthy, apart from offering healthy diet, sleep and exercise, regular check ups by some health care provider are also essential. These check ups are very vital for kid's development.
There are numerous reasons for youngsters gaining excess weight - many eat too much junk food and spend too much time indoors watching the television set or playing on computer/video games. Increasingly, parents and guardians are afraid to let their children play outside unattended due to traffic
There is growing concern about the levels of obesity in people of all ages today. It is recognised that excess weight can lead to health problems such as diabetes, heart disease and gall bladder disease, to name just three. Large numbers of people are now striving to get fit and healthy, and are realising that the longer you are out of shape, the longer it can take to rectify. Possibly the most alarming trend is for children to be overweight or obese, and parents and schools are now fighting to prevent this problem getting any worse.
Clinical Thermometers and Children's Health
Body temperature is usually measured by indirectly measuring the temperature of the blood. Its accuracy is dependent on both the equipment used and the area of the body used for the measurement. Several factors can affect the accuracy, among them recent exercise, how wrapped up (or ‘bundled’) a young child has been and even the environmental temperature.Rectal temperature is the most accurate of the common methods, but I do not recommend untrained people use this method with children. It can also be inaccurate since rectal temperature responds very slowly to quick changes in core body temperature. For these reasons I shall not dwell on this method. Children also frequently object to it.

The best option for children under three months old is probably an axillary reading. If you want one thermometer to do all jobs, I would go for an ordinary digital thermometer and restrict the measurements to armpit and oral.

Children's Health and Eating
It might be taking things a bit too casually as far as the health of your child is concerned, but sooner or later you may regret it. It is a fact that more and more kids are getting addicted to junk food. They hate home made food and are more at ease with hot dogs and other junk foods. As a responsible parent, it is time that you realized that these junk foods are slowly taking their toll on your child and that sooner or later they will end up being obese. When did you last take the weight of your child?

Have you ever observed that they hardly exercise and are slowly becoming couch potatoes? It is high time that you took some steps to identify the harmful effects of obesity in your kids since the same leads to a number of health problems like: Asthma, high blood pressure.

Kids Health & Nutrition
We're designed to drink water, nothing else. In the past 10,000 years, raw milk became recognized as a nutritious food staple, as did raw, unprocessed fruit juices. Although I am not a proponent of processed milk and fruit juice, most mothers see milk and fruit juices as a staple food source..

Adverse health effects from displacing water with soda pop and processed juice include:
  • Tooth decay
  • Sugar addiction
  • Insulin resistance, Syndrome X and diabetes
  • Increased chance of osteoporosis
  • Increased severity of kidney stones
  • Nervousness
